I might also like to say that most individuals that find themselves with out health insurance are typically students, self-employed and those that are unemployed. More than half from the uninsured are really under the age of Thirty-five. They do not think they are requiring health insurance since they are young as well as healthy. The income is typically spent on housing, food, along with entertainment. A lot of people that do work either whole or in their free time are not presented insurance through their work so they get along without because of the rising cost of health insurance in america. Thanks for the ideas you discuss through this web site.

Hi drmike,

could you please be more specific on why you think Assembla's services are unprofessional? My company is deciding to start using it, so I am acquiring as much information as possible.

Thanks, Martin

Better watch what you say about Assembla or Andy will start screaming obscenities at you in email. I left them a long time ago. Very unprofessional.

Hi Ben,
was just browsing around and found your answer to my post :). Assembla made a mistake when they forced their free users to pay for the service, now it looks like they learned from it and they are offering free plans as long as they can support them, once it is too much they will close free plans registrations without forcing anyone to move from their current plan. At least that is what they claim.

Anyway time will prove it they learned the lesson or not.

Cheers.

What I like about assembla is a webhooks functionality. It is very helpful for integrations with various tools or external services like twitter, Basecamp, AlertGrid or others.

Hi BigAll, I noticed Assembla's updated plan yesterday. Their back and forth private/public, free/not-free planning is a little hard for me to swallow. Yes, I think they are a bit crazy. I'm using their paid service for one project right now. It's working well, but I'm not sure it is safe to use their free stuff since their policies tend to change. Just my opinion though.

Hey - do have a look at xp-dev.com as an alternative to Assembla
