Functional Programming – Part 4

I mentioned my Functional Programming Presentation a while back and promised to provide more detail. In response, I’m sharing my slide deck in a quick series of posts.  Here’s the fourth part of the series. If you are just joining us, jump back to Part 1 of the Functional Programming Series.

In part 5 of the Functional Programming Series, we will learn about how functional programming helps you think differently about problems and functional programming’s accessibility and availability.

I am going to be a little obnoxious about listing my functional programming references with every part of this series – mostly because the references, in their own right, are awesome.

  1. whoah this blog is great i really like reading your articles. Stay up the good work! You already know, many individuals are hunting around for this info, you can aid them greatly.

  2. I’m a freshman in college and I was planning on majoring in Computer Engineering, but unfortunately it doesn’t really seem too interesting to me, especially all the computer programming. I’m considering changing my major to Computer Science except I don’t really know what kind of career a degree in Computer Science will get me. So what is the difference between the two? Please help me out, I don’t really have too much time to ask the advisers at my university, so any help would be appreciated..
